Riassunto delle puntate precedenti, non andate in onda per problemi di contatto del gomito col ginocchio:

1. con Sgonfio e altri amici siamo andati alla Biennale di Venezia. Era la prima volta che visitavo la Biennale, e la seconda che andavo a Venezia. La Biennale, non avendo termini di paragone con gli anni precedenti, per me era ochei, anche se inevitabilmente (o no?) piena anche di cose un po’ così, di quelle insomma che ti fanno solidarizzare con Remo e Augusta Proietti. Ho fatto un po’ di foto, le potete vedere qui sotto e qui in grande, volendo a tutto schermo. Una delle mie foto è stata selezionata da Schmap per la loro guida di Venezia.

2. mi sono comprata una bella maglietta makkinosa!

3. ho finalmente visitato Lisbona. Troppo poco tempo e troppe cose da vedere, così tante che ho fatto solo poche foto: qui in grande.

4. ho fatto un po’ di esperimenti e anche cose nuove per lo shop: molte sono andate vendute prima che riuscissi a fotografarle, le altre sono in vendita.

Ecco le novità: block notes per prendere appunti volanti da portare sempre in giro come portachiavi, cartoline su cui scrivere messaggi importantissimi o meno, borse da riempire (una è già stata venduta! in meno di 24h, uau), e spillette da attaccare ovunque, comprese le borse di cui sopra.

♥ Orikaso – functional origami for everyday life

Due nuove collane colorate, e ancora qualche saldo qua e là.
Per il resto, ho provveduto a fare almeno due cose anti-me: attraversare questo ponte, e fare foto ad insetti.

I made four bags. Until now, I sewed only one bag at a time but the other day I projected (choosing fabrics and shapes), cutted and sewed them “in a batch”, because I wanted to try and see if I’d be saving some hours of work this way. And what I suspected was correct: sewing multiple things together works fine not only for other crafters but also for me, phew! And I discovered some interesting (for me, ha!) things. For example, cutting the fabric is the more time-taking activity (always for me): I took one hour and half only to cut all the four bags (lining + outsides + handles). Sewing is actually the smoothest thing, while I tend to stress during the final assembly (put the handles on the bag, stitch all together and turn inside out). And making the handles can be pretty boring sometimes…all that ironing and pressing for just a couple of fabric pieces :)

All the bags (pictured above), made exception for the first from the left, are now avalaible in the shop section of this site.

You might remember the red/gray/sand flowers fabric from here and here, though the first bag was much smaller and had different handles than this new one, and the second was lined with a different fabric color (it also had a strange pocket inside).

This fabric below is so “me” it could have my name printed on it! It’s my most favourite fabric I own yet (more pics here and here; and here a crappy pic of me modeling the bag).
