Katy Horan’s paintings and drawings are meant to be the long lost folk art from an imaginary world. Based on a wide variety of interests and influences, her work tells stories about the characters and communities that populate this world. Originally from Texas, Katy has lived in 5 different cities and isn’t ready to stop moving quite yet. [...] For now, she lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. When not painting pictures of witches and horned ladies, Katy likes to bake pies, watch movies and play the banjo.
