Last Sunday I was at my parents house and my mother was showing me some origami diagrams she had to choose for teaching them to a group of children. Going through lots of books, I noticed a nice japanese doll, but very traditional and very pointy. So I decided to make only the head and altered face and hair to my taste. The bimbas were born. I plan to make cards out of them, if you have any other ideas just let me know.

Bimbe di carta fatte a partire da un diagramma origami per una bambolina giapponese tradizionale. La bambolina era troppo appuntita e nonsocosa per i miei gusti, così ho piegato faccia e capelli in modo un po’ diverso ed ecco fatto.

I like it. Which book is it from? My 6 year-old would love to draw a face on one :)

ma noi poveri essere sottosviluppati, appena parlanti l’italiano figurarsi l’inglese, di che morte moriremo di questo passo, con questi riassunti italiani sommari e scialbi??!?!?! in nome di tutti i non parlanti inglese, esigo una traduzione più aderente alla realtà!

Benita, I don’t remember the name of the book, I can’t remember very well also which of the lots of book I saw it was on, but it is surely an italian publication. I tried to search the diagram online but didn’t found anything. I’d tell you that I’d search it in my parents house and let you know, if my parents weren’t leaving in these days for vacations…anyway I will post it here in the future if I can reach it, or maybe the diagram made by me when I’ll have time and my home computer back working (it’s broken now).

Orn, hai ragggione…proverò ad applicarmi di più (e quando scrivevo in italiano, e perchè non scrivi in inglese, e ora che scrivo in inglese, epperchè non scrivi in italiano…ah! la difficile vita del blog)
